It's a high of escapism and ego. I get manically bored with daily life and use cosplay as a way to create, put on a face, and act. I get a chance to perform and entertain others with a character out of fantasy which by pleasing others gets me the reflexive satisfaction and adoration I crave. It's an extension of day-to-day life except in the guise of someone recognizable. - Anonymous
