Tell me about the outfit you are wearing !
I am cosplaying as Tsubaki from the anime/manga Soul Eater.
Tell me about the process of making your outfit ?
The most important thing for me was making sure not to destroy the wig by brushing it too hard. When I started off I ripped out a bunch of hair so I had my friend Grace (we have the same name) brush it for me. She’s into cosplay as well. Then I just had to go out and buy some tights to match it with. Unfortunatly I didn’t have any platform shoes to acompany with the cosplay, because that what she wears in the anime.
How did you get started cosplaying and what got you interested ?
I have always been interested in dressing up and after I started reading manga I learned about cosplay. I really like looking at others costumes and making my own.
What are the con did you first attended and what’s your favorite con that you’ve attended so far and why ?
Fanime is the only con I’ve been to but I plan on going again next year… and the year after that.
What does cosplay mean to you ?
It means taking the attitude and image of the character your portraying and enjoying yourself.
If you had unlimited funds/technology/time, what is your dream cosplay ?
That so hard!!! Hmm… Probably Sesshomaru from Inu Yasha or Alfin from the videogame ‘Shining Force Feather’. Or a really good organization coat. (Kingdom Hearts)
