Tell me about the outfit you are wearing – who are you cosplaying and how did you decide to pick this particular character ?

Tell me about the process of making your outfit – was it easier or tougher than you imagine it to be ?
Everything was fairly easy, most of it was made from a Halloween costume pattern that I altered. I bought a brand new serger for this project and it took me a while to figure out how to use it… the hardest part was heming a circle skirt -.- so I kinda just serged the edges and left it at that
Any interesting stories from people’s reaction to your outfit at the con ?
I was suprised that there werent more people cosplaying her.. ussually there are a million! I got some comments about the tattoos and the character being a little bit of a bad arse
How did you get started cosplaying and what got you interested ?
I started with watching sailor moon when i was like 7 and I got more and more interested in anime, and I used to play ddr and my friends brought me to Otakon and I found cosplay!
What are the con did you first attended and what’s your favorite con that you’ve attended so far and why ?
Otakon was my first I think it was 02 or 03 and Otakon is probably my fav.. theres so many people and so many awesome costumes
What does cosplay mean to you ?
Dressing up as a character that you put so much time and effort into making the costume… I also try to look as the character would look in real life, or as realistic as i can get even if it’s not 100% spot on to the anime
If you had unlimited funds/technology/time, what is your dream cosplay ?
I always wanted to do a Plug Suit from Evangelion but I dont have the ablity to do that, I also really want to cosplay Ren from Dears
