Okay folks, here's a list of cons this weekend here in the United States. This might be the lowest amount of cons I've seen - 8 cons. Usually I see somewhere over 10 cons listed per weekend but then again, it is 4th of July weekend ! If I missed any, feel free to comment and I'll add that in.
The big one is obviously Anime Expo celebrating their 21st year this year. I expect them to fully surpass the 50,000 mark this year. This is also the convention I've attended the most in my life - a total of five years. In 2008, the attendance figures were 43,000. Perhaps it'll pass 53,000 this year ??
