For San Diego Comic Con, there are three vendors I know of carrying my book. I myself will not have a booth. Do not go to Epic Cosplay wigs unless you want wigs, cuz I won't be there :)

Luckily the three vendors are in the unofficial "anime" side of the con - the far right hand side when you walk into the vendor hall and yes, it is true, at times, you CAN NOT SEE the opposite walls. It'll take you a good 20-30 minutes to cross the vendor hall with people there. It's completely crazy here. You think Anime Expo was tough ? AX is a baby con compared to SDCC.
There's only one reason for me to go to SDCC and that is cosplay. I know cosplay ain't as big as it is in DragonCon but people come here from all over the world and there will be cosplayers. And I admit, this place scares the crap out of me in the dealer hall. Last year, my eyes glazed over and after hours of being in the masses, I needed a quiet place to chill. I shared a space with Epic Cosplay wigs last year but this year I'll be out and about interviewing cosplayers and taking photos on my phone.
Consider this the benchmark. If you can come and survive four days at San Diego Comic Con (130,000 people) or New York Comic Con (105,000 people), then consider yourself prepare to tackle any con in the world.
