Tell em about your outfit !
I’m wearing an outfit for my miku hatsune cosplay. I love it soo much. i didn’t actually make it though. i bought different things from different people online. i decided to pick her because shes just soo adorable. and i LOVE the vocaloids.
How was the process of making your outfit ?
errrmmm. took some time to find exactly what i wanted. needed to find the right colored wig i liked. the right accessories. all in all it took about a week maybe? i actually thought it’d be harder but it was fairly easy since im good at web surfing and finding things online.
Any interesting stories from people’s reaction to your outfit at the con?
Yesss! hah. c: i hugged a guy cause’ his outfit was cool lookin’ and he turns around and says “oh my god… you’re adorable.” XD and theeenn… there was an Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew that i met. It was really funny because she had a cup of water in her hand (i didn’t realize it till afterwards) and i glomped her from behind and it spilt forward XD and shes like “oh my god you’re soo cute! can i take you with me??” she was really nice and her and her friends thought i was cute so they all gave me a hug. x3 i was really happy
How did you get started cosplaying and what got you interested?
Oh my god. my friend Frankie (who is indeed a girl XD) told me about death note and back then i had NO idea what anime was. but after i watched it i completely fell in love. i started watching more and more and i couldn’t stop. i was hooked. so then i looked stuff up online about it. and from there i found out about cosplaying, lolita, manga, etc. so im completely like, in love with Japan now. i wanna go there when i get older.
What are the con did you first attended and what’s your favorite con that you’ve attended so far and why?
Well, ive only been to two con’s actually. *sob* i’ve been to A-kon which was a blast cause im happy my first con was a big one. with a band performace and everything. i met some nice people there too who i still talk to and are now my best friends. I can’t really say which ones my favorite. I really liked them both because of different things. at A-kon they had the maids contest which i attended and won for best time setting a table XD i had no idea id have to set up a table either.. XD and there was the concert. and at animefest i wore my miku oufit and i got alot of pictures and everyone loved my outfit so i was really happy because of that. yeppyeppyepp.
What does cosplay mean to you?
Wellll. cosplay is a way of showing how much you love anime and just going out there and having fun dressed as your favorite characters. ^-^ it doesn’t matter what other people think of your costume, if you love it and your having fun then it doesn’t really matter now does it? peace, love, cosplay. XD
If you had unlimited funds/technology/time, what is your dream cosplay?
Definetly a Rozen Maiden cosplay or the ultimate Miku Hatsune cosplay. o_o i would love to have the perfect suigintou and barasuishou cosplay ever. and for the Miku one, i’d love to have ALL the electronic stuff she had. the little lights on her skirt and boots, (i alredy have light up sleeves xD) and her light up hair thingy majiggers. o_o
